So you might have heard of the "Dry January" movement that has been catching on these past few years. Basically, Dry January is a commitment to giving up alcohol for the month of January following the holidays. Today, we explore the topic of Dry January and how it's a great way to examine your relationship with alcohol! Not everyone who drinks a lot is an alcoholic, but if you've been feeling like you're spending way more time with the bottle than you'd like, then this could be a great way to pause and look at why.

Plan The Action, Not The Result!
Thursday Dec 17, 2020
Thursday Dec 17, 2020
This week Lynn has First Thought Wrong about some "kids" stealing her serenity.
Then we discuss how planning the action, and letting go of results, can help us in life and recovery. Focusing solely on the results can create fear, which holds us back from taking any action at all--impeding us from experiencing the creativity and joy in the journey. Focusing only on the results is a defense mechanism we use to stay in control of a situation. However, this causes us to have expectations--and we know what that means...RESENTMENTS! This week we challenge you to take action, regardless of your feelings. Let go of the results, and see what beauty unfolds!
